Developer's Note (Nov. 28, 2021): Fedeli's text still needs to be uploaded and checked line-by-line before being pushed to this site. Check back in late December to access his text here.

Our goal...

The Propertius Project publicizes three different editions of Propertius' Elegies that scholars have agreed upon. Propertius' texts have previously been inaccessible to much of the population. Our goal is to provide students, teachers, and faculty the chance to engage with the Latin without cost, and to understand how textual reception influences scholars even today.

The editions of Elegies produced here are Paolo Fedeli's 1984 edition (ed. Teubner), G.P. Goold's 1990 (ed. Harvard), and Stephen Heyworth's 1990 (ed. Oxford). Each has been recopied under fair use claim, and The Propertius Project, Inc. acts as redistributor with novel addition. Read more in our privacy policy here.
